Ready to make an impact? Join our vibrant Third Party Property Damage team as a Claims Advisor and be at the heart of resolving complex cases, supporting customers, and driving positive outcomes every day. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30.
Responsibilities
* Investigate and resolve third‑party property damage claims.
* Manage inbound and outbound calls guiding customers through liability queries with professionalism, clarity and care.
* Liaise with external parties such as claimants, solicitors and other insurance companies to negotiate and settle claims.
* Analyse policy documentation to determine coverage and applicability.
* Evaluate liability and quantum to determine accurate settlement amounts.
* Manage a caseload of claims while ensuring adherence to company guidelines and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and share knowledge for continuous improvement.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records of claims activities using the company's systems.

* Excellent communication skills—clear and confident phone manner, ability to write professional emails and letters.
* Strong time management—managing multiple claims and deadlines effectively.
* Problem‑solving skills—ability to assess claims and resolve issues efficiently.
* Organisation skills—keeping claims up to date and managing workload efficiently.
* Adaptability—handling changes in procedures or systems smoothly.
* Negotiation skills—resolve disputes and achieve settlements effectively.
* Empathy & active listening skills—handle sensitive conversations with customers who may be distressed.
* Computer skills—confidently use computer systems to record, track and manage liability cases with accuracy and efficiency.
