Overview
Community Staff Nurse - Adult Nursing Services role at NHS Scotland. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
Responsibilities
* Join the Primary Health Care team and, under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse, assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting.
Role details
* Two posts available: one 22.2 hours, three days over 7 including weekends, public holidays and back shifts; the second 18.5 hours, five shifts over 14 days including weekends, public holidays and back shifts.
* Requirements include significant nursing experience, demonstrable leadership and communication skills, and evidence of continuing development. A clean current driving licence is required.
Qualifications and requirements
* Two years or more experience as a registered nurse with first level adult nursing degree required.
* You must have a live NMC UK PIN to be considered for this post.
