Hays are seeking a qualified and experienced Surveying Manager (MRICS) to lead a team of surveyors working on rent renewals for a local council. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in landlord and tenant matters, particularly within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of surveyors handling rent renewals and property transactions.
2. Produce detailed reports on property transactions and valuations.
3. Review and challenge team outputs to ensure accuracy andpleteness.
4. Provide expert guidance on landlord and tenant issues, particularly within local authority housing.
5. Apply knowledge of Section 106 agreements in housing contexts.
6. Ensure best practices from private practice property services are integrated into council operations.
Requirements:
7. MRICS qualified (essential).
8. Proven management experience in a surveying environment.
9. Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law, especially in the public sector.
10. Experience with Section 106 housing agreements.
11. Background in both local authority and private practice property services.
12. Excellentmunication and report-writing skills.
