The Role
You’ll take ownership of the firm’s legal cashiering function, ensuring financial accuracy and full compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing client and office account transactions
* Processing receipts, payments, CHAPS and BACS
* Completing bank and ledger reconciliations
* Managing residual balances
* Supporting audits and compliance requirements
* Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
* Acting as a point of reference for legal accounting queries
About You
* Proven experience as a Legal Cashier, ideally at Senior level
* Comfortable working independently and confidently
* Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
* Experience with legal accounting systems
* Professional, reliable and proactive in approach
