What You’ll Be Doing
As a Piling Operative, you’ll be essential to the safe and efficient installation of deep foundation piles used to build the MBIF. Your role will involve:
1. Supporting marine piling operations and specialist piling techniques
2. Preparing, maintaining, and clearing construction areas
3. Assisting plant teams and operatives under site supervision
4. Handling, moving, and loading/unloading materials and equipment
5. Excavation, compaction, backfilling, levelling and general groundworks
6. Shovelling, moving spoil, and supporting temporary works set‑up
7. Ensuring safety, compliance, and high‑quality delivery across all tasks
Every day will be varied, hands‑on, and critical to the successful delivery of this engineering landmark.

8. Previous Piling Operative experience

10. Valid CSCS card + CSCS HSE Test
11. 1‑day Safety Awareness Training
12. CPCS Slinger Signaller
Desirable
13. CPCS Traffic Marshall
14. CPCS Rig Attendant
15. Traffic Marshall ticket
16. Full UK driving licence
