Job Description
Temporary purchase ledger clerk required for a hybrid role in Coventry. The role will be for at least 3 months and will hopefully lead to something permanent. \nAccounts Payable Duties: \n- Accept invoices from AP inbox \n- Register invoices on ledger matching accurately to purchase order.
\n- Processing multi-currency invoices on correct ledger \n- Maintaining Queried invoices in workflow, chasing resolutions. \n- Posting Direct Debits and allocating correctly \n- Own the credit card process from end to end ensuring timely receipt of information and maintaining and processing all transactions. Reconciling supplier credit accounts \n- Own Expenses process \n- Statement reconciliations \n- Debit Balance Reconciliations, correcting discrepancies, chasing any overpayments.
\n- Payment run process, keeping payment terms and liaising with line management. \n \nYou will be working in a large finance team and therefore must be a good team player and able to work on own initiative. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, the ability to build strong relationship with Suppliers and internal customers.
\nThis role is hybrid with 3 days in the office after training. \nFot the right person this role could be come a team leader role being a number 2 to the accounts payable manager
