Role Overview
Within the speciality of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, the role involves working collaboratively with children, young people, carers, and families to provide specialised, complex clinical assessments. The postholder will use decision-making and clinical judgment to formulate appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans with minimal supervision.
The role also includes providing specialist advice to the multi-disciplinary team, healthcare professionals, and other agencies. Additionally, the post involves supporting service development to improve practice, working collaboratively across health and social care boundaries, and implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
Additional Responsibilities
* Participation in quality improvement initiatives, research, and audits within the service.
