Teaching Assistant – Warrington (WA5) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (potential to become permanent) Salary: £90 - £100 per day A vibrant and nurturing primary school in Warrington (WA5) is looking to appoint a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking team after October half-term. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing within a warm and inclusive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering creative and interactive lessons across the curriculum. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce understanding and build confidence. Help prepare teaching materials and set up engaging classroom activities. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve. Assist with classroom management, behaviour support, and day-to-day routines. Contribute to the wider life of the school through teamwork and a proactive attitude. What We’re Looking For: A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience). A calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
