This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Motor Trade Service Manager / Aftersales Manager to join a well-established dealership and take ownership of the aftermarket service operation.
The Role – Automotive Service Manager
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the automotive service department, ensuring efficient workshop performance, exceptional customer satisfaction, and strong commercial results.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the service department operations within a busy automotive dealership
* Leading, coaching, and motivating service advisors and workshop technicians
* Monitoring workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
* Ensuring high levels of customer service and CSI scores
* Overseeing vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance processes
* Managing service bookings, workflow, and workshop scheduling
* Ensuring compliance with motor trade and manufacturer standards
* Driving service department revenue, upsell opportunities, and retention
Automotive Service Manager – Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
* Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager / Aftersales Manager / Service Team Leader
* Strong background in the motor trade or automotive dealership environment
* Experience managing workshop operations and service teams
* A strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
