Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a private practice setting where you will provide hands-on treatment, injury prevention advice, and rehabilitation support to a wide range of clients – from recreational athletes to sedentary individuals. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their confidence and experience as a post-graduate.
Ideally looking for someone to work 2 days a week including evenings with the potential of picking up more days. Hours and availability to be discussed in the interview.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and goals
* Develop tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans based on individual client goals
* Perform a variety of techniques using Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage
* Keep accurate records of clients treatments and progress
* Maintain a clean and organised treatment room ensuring all equipment is left clean and tidy
* Stay updated on best practices and trends within the industry through continuous professional development
Skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.
* Empathy and active listening skills to understand clients concerns fully.
* Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
* Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, enabling effective treatment planning.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure all appointments run on time.
* A commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical practices within the field of massage therapy.
Mandatory
* Qualification BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy or equivalent
* Registered with a professional governing body (e.g. SST, STA)
* Valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance
* Up-to-date First Aid Certification
* Full Driving license
Preferred
* Experience in a private or clinical setting
* Qualifications in Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping and Pregnancy Massage
