We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Fitter to work in a team, supporting installation, maintenance, and servicing of dust collection systems and filtration equipment across client sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Service of Nederman MikroPul systems to the expected high standards
* Perform filter bag changes, repairs and replacement of parts
* Welding of damaged filters, where needed
* High standard housekeeping on all service jobs, especially the filter changes at crematorium sites
* Work weekends to support the business needs
* Collection and delivery of spare parts where necessary
* Maintain records of service visit and work carried out
* Maintain high standard of safety all the time
Qualifications & Experience
* Full training will be provided, but the following experience is preferred:
* Proven experience as a mechanical fitter, service technician, or in a similar hands-on industrial role.
* Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments.
* Competent using small hand tools.
* Full valid driving license and willingness to travel.
* CSCS, IPAF, or similar certifications are advantageous.
Please note: Due to the nature of the customer sites, weekend working is common. The working hours are 37.5 per week inclusive of weekend working.
* Experience in the filtration or dust control industry is a plus.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
