Recovery Coordinator

Location: HAGA Seven Sisters
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,487- £34,730 per annum

About the Role

As a key member of the Haringey Recovery Service (HRS), you will manage a caseload of adult service users receiving recovery support within community settings. The role involves working both from the main office at HAGA/HRS, 590 Seven Sisters Road, and out in the community.

You will deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions to support individuals accessing care for:

1. Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST)
2. Alcohol use
3. Non-opiate substance use
4. Combined alcohol and non-opiate needs

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in improving health outcomes and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

5. Deliver structured one-to-one support and harm minimisation advice
6. Develop and review personalised recovery plans
7. Facilitate and run group sessions within the service and wider community
8. Empower service users to set and achieve recovery goals safely
9. Build strong, collaborative relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, and wider social care networks
10. Work alongside community partners to support access to additional services beyond appointments
11. Support and engage volunteers and peer support workers

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need

Essential

12. A strong passion for supporting individuals through recovery
13. Ability to build positive, professional relationships with service users and stakeholders
14. Experience delivering person-centred or tailored interventions
15. Strong communication and motivational skills
16. Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
17. A community-focused, inclusive approach to practice

Desirable

18. Experience working within substance misuse services or similar support roles
19. Knowledge of harm reduction approaches and recovery models
20. Experience facilitating group sessions or workshops
21. Understanding of partnership working across health and social care services
