The Role
The purpose of this role is to complete independent and consistent file reviews to ensure fee earners adhere to Clyde & Co Performance standards, delivering service excellence for our clients in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
As a senior member of the Quality Assurance team, you will report on departmental performance, provide feedback, identify improvement areas, and help develop a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete client file reviews to monitor adherence to SLAs and internal performance standards using the internal audit database or client‑specific documents.
* Produce audit performance reports for the QA Manager, cascade findings to relevant Client Account Partners, and identify hotspot areas for improvement.
* Work with Partners to deliver constructive feedback to fee earners through one‑to‑one meetings or group sessions.
* Track completion of remedial actions, ensuring they are effective and implemented timely.
* Engage in team project work to deliver continuous improvement to the UK Insurance Practice, including recommending improvements and designing training.
* Collaborate with Risk Teams to review new and proposed Service Level Agreements within QAT and communicate changes to stakeholders.
* Work with the IT team to enhance system efficiency for data extraction and audit report production.
* Assist HR in implementing actions for files breaching client SLAs.
* Support the Business Development team by providing quality audit data for pitch documents.
* Prepare files for Client audits, delivering timely feedback to the Client Account Partner before the audit.
* Manage ad‑hoc audit requests from QA Managers efficiently, recording them in the QA database.
* Maintain effective relationships with all business levels.
* Identify your training needs and development areas and discuss them with your QA Manager.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Excellent knowledge of insurance litigation processes.
* Experience in an insurance claims‑related environment (insurer‑based or legal services).
* Proficiency with MS Office.
* Proven audit and technical skills and/or understanding of audit processes.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong consulting, influencing and communication skills (oral and written).
* Good interpersonal skills with confidence to engage staff at all levels.
