We're looking for a capable, compassionate nurse who's ready to lead with care and confidence.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you'll work closely with our Manager to help lead a warm, well-run home where staff feel supported and residents feel safe and valued. You'll bring clinical skill, good judgment and a calm approach — supporting medication oversight, mentoring staff, and guiding day-to-day care. This is a hands-on leadership role, with a balance of responsibility, teamwork and real connection.

What Your Week Could Look Like
You'll be involved in every part of life in the home — supporting the team, leading care, and being a steady point of contact for families and professionals.
* Working closely with the Manager on daily operations
* Supporting rotas, handovers, supervisions and best practice
* Leading medication audits, orders and staff guidance
* Mentoring junior nurses and supporting new staff
* Visiting and assessing new clients before admission
* Being a calm, informed presence for residents and families
What We'd Love You to Bring
This role needs someone with clinical skill, quiet confidence and the ability to support others with clarity and kindness.
* A valid NMC PIN and up-to-date nursing qualification
* Experience leading or supporting care teams
* Strong communication and mentoring skills
* A calm, organised and person-centred approach
* Basic computer skills and confident record keeping
* A flexible, hands-on attitude and a team-first mindset
Salary and Benefits
* Monday - Friday £23.75 & weekend £ overtime is paid at £1.00 extra per hour
* Attendance bonus + 50p per hour if all shifts are attended each month - T&C's apply
