About the role
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent and key accounts in the
Northwest regio
n, ranging from small independent retailers, buying groups, independent department stores, wholesalers, and distributors.
You will manage our existing customer base as well as seek out new business opportunities with prospective customers.
Your focus will be on MDA, SDA, and Homewares.
Main responsibilities
• Maintain and develop our existing customer base to achieve profitable, long-term business and meet set targets
• Attend regular face-to-face meetings with your customer base (this is a field-based role)
• Identify new business opportunities and routes to market
• Run regular promotions to drive sales through marketing and training
• Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist with stock planning
• Promote and drive brand awareness for our three great British brands
• Attend regular sales meetings at our HQ in London
• Attend all UK trade shows
Requirements
• You will be required to visit customers four days a week, based on the needs of the customer base. The ideal candidate should be located along the M62 corridor to ensure full regional coverage
• Experience in the SDA, MDA, and Homewares industry is preferred but not essential
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and achieving sales targets
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Full UK driving licence
