Job Title: Lecturer in Accountancy
Location: Huddersfield - Waterfront
Salary: £31,520 - £38,786
Hours and Weeks per Year: 18.5 hours / 52 weeks per year
At Kirklees College we are always looking for new talent, and welcome applications from all sectors. In this role you will predominantly be based at Huddersfield and focus on campus teaching, delivering across Levels 2-4 AAT programmes (predominantly Level 3) for adult students and apprentices.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver teaching across AAT programmes, ensuring a high quality and relevant learning experience.
* Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate exam preparation, and provide support and guidance to students throughout their time at Kirklees College.
* Manage and monitor the delivery of the AAT programme, support and encourage student achievement, and monitor data to support learner progression.
* Maintain accurate student records and ensure academic standards are met; collaborate with other departments to support student outcomes.
* Contribute to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 4 AAT (or demonstrable equivalent ability).
* Demonstrable experience in the sector.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
