Programme Officer – UK

Belfast (Hybrid); Cardiff; Islington, Greater London; Salford, Greater Manchester. £28,400 per annum plus Into Film Benefits. Full‑time, Permanent.

The Programme Officer – UK supports the delivery of cross‑programme activities across the United Kingdom, ensuring seamless administration, data accuracy and stakeholder engagement. The role reports to the Joint Head of Programmes and involves close collaboration with Programme Leads, Coordinators, Marcomms and research teams.


Main Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support for the delivery of cross‑programme activities, including training for teachers and career professionals, workshops, conferences and events.
* Meet regularly with each nation’s team to coordinate place‑based programme activities and requirements.
* Oversee and support the management and maintenance of the CRM database for place‑based activity across the UK.
* Assist with data collection and evaluation for reporting to funders by ensuring accurate data input and liaison with the Research and Data Coordinator.
* Collaborate with the Marcomm team to promote the programme across communication channels, including training sign‑ups, filmmaking competitions, the Into Film Awards and the Screen Careers programme.
* Work with Marcomms and Programme Coordinators to run targeted marketing campaigns to increase engagement in place‑based areas.
* Assist desk‑based research to identify partners and organisations to engage underserved young people.
* Support the development and delivery of the Youth Advisory Council and Education Ambassador initiatives.
* Undertake general administrative tasks, including customer support, inventory, travel booking, invoice processing and regional social media channels.
* Represent Into Film at conferences and events as required.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.


General Responsibilities

* Commitment to quality in all interactions with educators, children, industry partners and other stakeholders.
* Active participation in advancing Into Film’s EEDI values.
* Contribution to long‑term planning to ensure growth in line with demand and resources.
* Support regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.


Person Specification

* Experience in administrative support with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Confidence using CRM systems for accurate data input, analysis and reporting.
* Clear, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good understanding of the UK education landscape and how film can be used in learning settings.
* Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and online tools.
* Ability to support marketing activity such as email campaigns and outreach.
* Proactive, adaptable and detail‑focused with the ability to work remotely.
* Interest in film and a commitment to engaging and supporting young people through creative opportunities.


Minimum Requirements

* Experience with CRM analysis, insights and reporting.
* Proven track record in an administrative role.
* Excellent project and time‑management skills with ability to prioritise a busy schedule.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of the education market and how teachers can use film.
* Awareness of the screen industry landscape across the UK.
* Experience of cross‑team working.


Desirable

* Experience developing and implementing email campaigns.
* Experience working within an education or arts charity context.
* Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
* Knowledge of film and the film industry.
