Job Description Joining the Chorley team as a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing the warehouseteamswhilstmotivatingemployees. Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet set KPIs. Working hours: Monday-Friday; 06:00- 14:00/ 14:00 - 22:00 Key Duties of a Warehouse Shift Manager: Leading a team of Team Leaders and General Warehouse Operatives in their daily workload. Ensuring that orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded and loaded in line with Customer specifications. Carry out daily inspections of the work place. Complete and Carry out Personal Development Plans for all members of their team. Ensure that a high standard of Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment. Communicating regularly with Team Leaders/Senior Managers regarding any issues that may arise within the warehouse. Manage the teams performance in line with KPIs as required. Adhere to Hygiene policy ensuring that the companies waste management program is adhered too and that we remain BRC compliant. Ensure that is adequate support for the picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in, pallet checking teams at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment. Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation. Great knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety. The ability to motivate and manage a large team. Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy. Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Strong and effective communicator at all levels. Be proactive and able to make decisions. Work and communicate effectively across multi functional depts.
