A well-established manufacturing company in Cumbria is looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically trained professional to take ownership of instrumentation and control systems within a modern industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot a range of instrumentation and control systems across the site.
* Deliver planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
* Support process automation and continuous improvement projects.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
* Ensure all instrumentation work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
* Contribute to long-term asset reliability and performance initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Electrically trained, with proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
* Strong knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
* Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high safety standards.
