Full Time Despatch Operative About Wilson's Country Based in Craigavon, Co. Armagh, we specialise in pre-packed, peeled and processed potatoes. We supply food retailers, caterers and food processing companies with a range of products, offering quality, taste, and value for money. Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Despatch Operative to join our team in Craigavon. This pivotal role is essential to ensuring our products are picked and dispatched efficiently and accurately, supporting the smooth running of our manufacturing operations. The role is 5 days per week and will include working Saturdays. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick and assemble orders ensuring correct quantities and product specifications Prepare and package goods for dispatch by building and wrapping pallets according to company standards and customer requirements. Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods and complete relevant documentation. Collaborate closely with warehouse and production teams to coordinate timely dispatches. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if necessary). Ensure the despatch area is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to supervisors. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch or manufacturing environment is required. Counterbalance and/or electric power pallet truck license or certificate (obtained within the last 3 years) Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Good organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work. Physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks safely. Willingness to work full-time shifts in a fast-paced environment.
