As a Project Engineer in a leading urban energy division, you won’t just be maintaining systems – you’ll be at the heart of London’s energy infrastructure, managing control systems for steam generators, boilers, and turbines that keep the city running.
You’ll be part of a specialist team where every week brings variety – from commissioning and upgrades to fault-finding, small works, and technical problem-solving on major projects.

What you'll do

Plan, manage, and deliver projects, including commissioning, upgrades, and small works.
*
Oversee control systems for boilers, turbines, and steam generators, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
*
Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly, minimising downtime and improving reliability.
*
Support operational teams with technical advice, system improvements, and optimisations.
*
Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
What you'll bring
*
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
*
Experience with commissioning, maintaining, or managing energy plant control systems (boilers, turbines, steam generators).
*
Strong knowledge of BMS control systems, PLCs/DCS, and practical fault-finding skills.
*
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with good communication and project management abilities.
