We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic ICT Support Officer to join our ICT support team. The role will be based predominantly in Brecon High School, Powys, whilst also undertaking duties at other supported locations as needed.
As ICT Support Officer you will:
1. support ICT systems including servers, PCs, Laptops, iPads, Chromebooks and other ICT equipment as needed
2. act as first line support for users at the site and will be expected to support staff and pupils with their ICT issues
3. have previous experience of ICT support and a good understanding of networks and IT systems
4. apply logical and creative skills to support and develop systems
5. be polite, approachable and have a can-do attitude
The ability to communicate effectively through the medium of Welsh and English is essential.

Customer Contact & ICT
Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams. Our service is responsible for the following functions:
13. Civil Registration: Birth, deaths and marriages.
14. Corporate Customer Services: Blue badge; Contact centre; Mailroom and scanning; Receptions.
15. ICT and Information Management: Archives and modern records; ICT support; Infrastructure and security; Project and application support; Reprographics, Technical support, Software development.
