Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to join our team and lead our group of Specification Sales Professionals in the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry. The Sales Leader will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets in the specification sales segment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, industry expertise, and a proven track record of success in driving sales within the BMS sector. Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Specification Sales Professionals to achieve individual and collective sales targets. Ensure exemplar usage of CRM system for account panning, opportunity management, and KPI reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales strategies with company objectives. Understand clients' needs, preferences, and pain points to deliver customized BMS solutions and exceed customer expectations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, recommendations, and solutions to address their specific challenges and requirements. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and pursue strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence in the BMS market. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and sales collateral to support business development efforts. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to capitalize on market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications: Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry, with a strong understanding of the specification sales process. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams. Deep knowledge of BMS products, solutions, and technologies, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and smart building systems. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
