Job Purpose
We are seeking a Business Support Officer to provide flexible and efficient administrative support. The role involves assisting officers with sourcing, purchasing, and completing due diligence requests, as well as handling additional administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. This is a part-time role offering 15 hours per week, with hours spread over at least 4 days.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to officers in sourcing and purchasing services.
* Complete due diligence checks in line with organisational standards.
* Process and maintain accurate records, data, and documentation.
* Assist with enquiries, communications, and coordination between teams and providers.
* Carry out additional administrative duties as required to support service delivery.
Person Specification
Essential
* Good standard of education with relevant administrative experience.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable
* Experience in procurement, brokerage, or commissioning support.
* Knowledge of due diligence or compliance checks.
Working Conditions & Arrangements
* 15 hours per week, spread across at least 4 days.
* Hours to be worked between 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.
* Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension.
