Our award winning client are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join a growing consultancy practice delivering complex digital transformation and technology programmes across large organisations.
This role acts as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring architecture decisions, solutions and delivery approaches are scalable, robust and aligned with strategic objectives. You will combine technical leadership, architecture oversight and hands-on delivery support across multiple client engagements.
This position sits within a senior technical leadership team and offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy, delivery standards and consultancy growth.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Architecture
* Lead technical projects from initiation through to successful delivery
* Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps and delivery approaches
* Assess existing technology landscapes and design scalable solutions
* Identify delivery risks, dependencies and technical challenges across programmes
* Provide hands-on support to resolve complex technical issues where required
Stakeholder & Advisory
* Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders
* Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic recommendations
* Support multidisciplinary teams delivering large transformation initiatives
Practice Growth
* Contribute to solution design, estimates and client proposals
* Support tenders, technical input into bids and new business opportunities
* Help shape the technical direction and growth of the consultancy practice
Technical Governance
* Establish and promote technical standards and delivery best practices
* Ensure solutions align with relevant regulatory and security frameworks
* Support initiatives around technical accreditations and compliance standards
Required Experience
* Proven experience in a technical leadership or technical consulting role
* Strong background in enterprise architecture and complex solution design
* Experience across modern technology environments including:
o Software development
o DevOps practices
o Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
o Network architecture
o Data platforms and data management
* Experience delivering multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
