Were looking for a proactive Transport Team Leader for our Primark contract in Thrapston, who can keep our transport operation running smoothly, ensure compliance, and drive team performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love problem-solving, and have a passion for motivating people, this role is for you.
This is a full time, permanent position, you will be working Friday to Tuesday 14:00 to 22:00.

Were looking to offer a salary of £35,000 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What youll do on a typical day:
* Lead daily transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance
* Drive compliance with all administrative, legislative, and security requirements
* Collaborate across departments to prevent delays and keep customers informed
* Manage and motivate teams, including drivers and admin staff, through coaching and development
* Oversee performance and safety, from tachograph records to accident investigations and vehicle defect management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Detail-driven and organised, with strong prioritisation skills and accuracy in all tasks
* Experienced in transport or fast-paced operations, with solid knowledge of EU regulations and drivers working time directives
* Excellent communicator and problem-solver, confident engaging at all levels and working under pressure to tight deadlines
* Tech-savvy and adaptable, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with transport systems (advantageous)
