We are currently supporting a client with the growth of an established DSAR function and are seeking an experienced DSAR Paralegal to join a growing team. This role will primarily focus on supporting Data Subject Access Requests and related document review work.
The Role
You will work as part of a collaborative DSAR team, providing hands-on support across the lifecycle of data subject access requests. The role is well suited to someone with prior DSAR review experience who is looking for flexible working arrangements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing documents for relevance and disclosure in response to DSARs
* Carrying out first-level document review, including identifying personal data and applying redactions where required
* Assisting with DSAR administration and supporting timely responses in line with statutory deadlines
* Working in accordance with data protection legislation, internal policies, and client guidance
Experience Required
* Previous experience supporting DSARs, including DSAR review work
* Experience in first-level document review
* A strong understanding of data protection principles
* High attention to detail and the ability to follow review protocols
* Comfortable working within established processes as part of a wider team
