Ammeraal Beltech Ltd, part of the AMMEGA Group, is a global market leader in the design, manufacture, fabrication and servicing of high-quality, high-performance process and conveyor belts.
The individual we are seeking to recruit will naturally be highly self-motivated with a ‘will to win,’ highly competitive and enjoy the ‘thrill’ of chasing and securing new customers. Coupled with this, the ideal candidate will be well disciplined in using internal systems (CRM) and completing reports and associated sales administration work.
You will be joining Ammeraal Beltech Ltd at an exciting time with the introduction of a new product range of Conveyor Chains & Components. The role will be focussed on the development of conveyor chains and components business through existing accounts and at the same time developing opportunities and closing new business partners throughout the UK & Ireland. You will play a key role in managing the strategy, growth and direction of this new product.
Your Main Responsibilities
1. Generate new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers by targeting all verticals in the UK & Ireland markets.
2. Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, demonstrating the product, pricing, negotiation and closing.
3. Build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to support the company’s growth plans
4. Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure a smooth and professional handover happens between Ammeraal Beltech Ltd and the customer
5. Attend events to network and create leads
6. Coordinate with Global ISM Team to identify leads gathered from exhibitions and also review Global Accounts with no trade in UK & Ireland
The Successful Applicant
7. Proven experience of meeting sales targets in business development / new business
8. Proven experience in managing profit margins, to include, maintaining, improving and reporting on
9. Proven ability to identify and develop new business
10. Proven experience in managing relationships with key clients
11. Strong, repeatable and reliable sales methodology to plan and develop sales
12. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
13. Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
14. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
15. Used to working in a fast-paced environment
