EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our AMP team at our Finham, Coventry office.
You will be accountable for delivering on key project across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction projects within Severn Trent’s Capital and Commercial Services business area, specifically aligned to WINEP.
You'll play an essential part in improving the rivers’ health, including the newly designated Bathing Waters sections of the river Severn in Shrewsbury and Ironbridge, as well as the river Teme in Ludlow. In addition, the programmes will bring several environmental benefits such as enhanced biodiversity and aquatic life.
You’ll work with a team of Assistant Project Managers and other professionals, reporting to the Lead Project Manager. You will be accountable for managing project risks, providing financial updates, and ensuring commercial controls are maintained throughout the life of the programme, while defining appropriate products, standards and timescales ensuring the project delivers to time and within budget.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You'll ideally be qualified in a technical engineering or construction related discipline and contractual management will be a key part of your role. If you have some exposure to NEC project management framework that would be an asset.
Ideally with experience in the utilities and/ or infrastructure sectors. You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills.
You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
You’ll hold a Full UK driving licence due to the remote location of some of our operational sites and projects’ locations.
