Job Description
The role of Training Administrator is really important to us. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities across our Learning and Development department acting as a liaison between the broader people team, alongside managers and colleagues across the business. Your development is our priority. You'll gain hands-on workplace experience, benefit from dedicated coaching, take part in interactive workshops, and receive a wide range of additional support to help you grow and succeed.
We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office as a base location, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
* Create and update training records across multiple people systems to ensure compliance for colleagues across the group (multi-site).
* Act as a point of contact for the business and broader people team for any queries in relation to training.
* Co-ordinate with the broader Learning and Development team to ensure a best-in-class service, overseeing training schedules and progress across the year.
* Maintain the learning runway updates to ensure accuracy.
* Communicate with the People Development team and to the business on key learning initiatives.
* Manage and track training needs and qualifications in a proactive manner, escalating any issues with completion.
* Support management with the control and allocation of the learning budget and apprenticeship levy.
* Collaborate with partners and research / set-up external training, when a need is found.
Qualifications
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to begin a career within a Learning & Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience while developing professionally in a supportive environment.
* Great customer service skills, with a proactive and approachable attitude.
* Well-organised and methodical, with a positive focus on planning and structure.
* Able to support colleagues across multiple locations, adapting to different needs and requirements.
* Confident with IT systems and tools, with strong digital literacy.
* Some general administrative experience is desirable.
* A self-starter who can manage their time well, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
