Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
2. Manage a full store operation during night shifts, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
3. Maintain high standards overnight to prepare the store for opening.
4. Manage people, including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling, and pay.
5. Ensure a safe and healthy environment for the team, understanding the physical and mental impacts of night shift work.
6. Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
7. Resilience to handle the mental and physical demands of night shifts.
8. Deliver excellent customer service and coach the team accordingly.
9. Monitor KPIs and performance indicators to drive results.
10. Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary and performance matters.
11. Lead store operations independently in the absence of senior management.
12. Embed inclusivity in all aspects of work and leadership.
Experience & Skills:
1. Proven success in leading teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
2. Operational leadership skills, including responsibility for store operations during absences of senior managers.
3. Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as sales, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement.
4. Experience managing employee relations, performance, and absence issues.
5. Desirable: Experience working night shifts in high-volume operational settings, with the ability to adapt to night shift demands and create a supportive environment.
