We have a position for a Communications Apprentice to work in our Head Office in Ipswich, on Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside our Communications Officer assisting with and delivering first-rate communications using the full range of media and information gathering techniques to promote the achievements and capabilities of the company.
* Support the group social media channels and website, engage with new content, plan posts and identify opportunities.
* Research, write up and post Jackson staff good news stories and achievements for the company intranet.
* Attend visits to work sites, gathering content for case studies, reports, news articles, video, images, and social media.
* Assist with gathering and organising content for industry award submissions.
* Manage group image archives.
* Assist with coordination and organisation of exhibitions, conferences and events as required.
* Prepare brochures, leaflets and other corporate literature.
Qualifications and Skills
* Passion for communication; willing to learn; strong team player.
* Forward-thinking, flexible, and not afraid to ask questions.
* Confident engaging with people at all levels.
* Good collaborative communication skills; organized with an eye for detail.
* Conversant with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams.
* Full UK driving licence is required.
