Maintenance Engineer - Days
Location: Kempston
Salary: £41,500 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Day Shifts Only

Role
As part of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery runs efficiently and downtime is minimised. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and delivering high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of equipment
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose faults effectively
* Support production teams to ensure minimal disruption to output
* Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to site standards
* Assist with improvement projects and equipment upgrades
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills (multi-skilled preferred)
* Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
* Self-motivated and able to work independently during day shifts
