An exciting position has become available for a confident and dedicated Year 5 teacher to join a thriving and inclusive Birmingham primary school. The Role: We are seeking an experienced teacher who can:
Deliver outstanding teaching in Year 5 and raise achievement across the key stage.
Lead on a specific area of school improvement (to be agreed, based on experience and school priorities) as part of the TLR role.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
Assess and track pupil progress effectively to inform planning and ensure all learners make strong progress.
Lead by example in classroom practice, team collaboration, and school ethos.
Contribute positively to staff development, curriculum innovation, and enrichment opportunities.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong track record in upper Key Stage 2.
Previous experience of leading a subject, phase, or key school initiative (desirable).
Excellent classroom practice and strong knowledge of Year 5 curriculum expectations.
Confidence in preparing pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments.
Strong leadership qualities with a commitment to collaborative and reflective practice.
