We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to become a vital part of our onsite Commercial Team at our Normanton Head Office. If you are passionate about Procurement and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: IPL Normanton
Contract Type: Permanent
Your key responsibilities will include:
•Lead grower interactions on a daily basis to ensure programme adherence and relationships are maintained
•Data analysis to assist buying team with:
Supplier Management, Seasonal Reviews, Supplier Payments, Purchasing structures
•First point of contact for all site day to day queries, resolving with the relevant member of the Business Unit if necessary
•Protect inbound by early identification of over capacity issues and manage contingency situation, when applicable liaising with 3rd party packers / suppliers
•Manage packaging forecasts for Business Unit, liaising with site, IPL packaging teams and 3rd parties
•Consolidation of packing plans for Business Unit
•Manage critical path for introduction of new lines / products/ pack types etc… into relevant site
Processing supplier/haulier claims, whilst ensuring the company claims procedures are followed
•Investigate packhouse issues with relevant stakeholders and keep the Business Unit updated
•Liaise with the Business Unit Administrator on deliveries into IPL sites
•Agree daily packing requirements with IPL Site Planners and liaise with despatch and site planners to manage load and go situations
•Monitor and investigate where necessary packhouse yields and costs providing updates to relevant Buyers and chairing weekly meeting with site to discuss performance
•Minimising waste and reducing cost impact to Business Unit
•Initiate and conclude the label confirmation process for new / existing lines by following the IPL Label Confirmation procedure
•Knowledge of and ability to step into planning role to provide suitable cover when necessary
•Spending time in packhouse identifying issues and improvement opportunities

•Microsoft Office Excel - Intermediate
•GCSE Mathematics or equivalent
