Computer Assembler Location: Heywood Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour About the Role: Our client in Heywood is looking for an experienced PC Hardware Tester to join their team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates with previous experience testing and inspecting computer hardware, particularly monitors and laptops. Key Responsibilities: Testing and diagnosing laptops, monitors, and other PC components Conducting quality control checks and recording results accurately Identifying, repairing, or reporting hardware faults Safely handling and moving IT equipment ( manual handling required ) Ensuring all products meet company and customer standards Requirements: Previous PC hardware testing or IT refurbishment experience essential Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Comfortable with manual handling tasks Benefits: Competitive pay at £12.21 per hour Temp-to-perm progression after probation period Friendly working environment Monday-Friday, day shifts (no weekends)
