Private Wealth Solicitor (Associate / Director)
West Yorkshire | Hybrid Working
I’m currently working on an excellent opportunity with a well‑established regional law firm that continues to invest heavily in the growth of its Private Wealth offering.
The firm has a sizeable and highly regarded Private Wealth & Succession team, advising a loyal client base of high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners and families on complex UK and cross‑border matters. The work is both high quality and genuinely impactful, often supporting clients through significant life events.
The Opportunity
This is a key strategic hire into the West Yorkshire team, with scope to join at Associate or Director level depending on experience working from their Bradford office.
You’ll play a central role in delivering a broad range of private client work, including:
* Wills, trusts and succession planning
* Estate administration (including complex, high‑value estates)
* Lasting Powers of Attorney and capacity matters
* Trust structuring and compliance (including TRS)
* Tax planning and related advisory work
Alongside your technical caseload, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to maintaining high standards across the team. There is real opportunity to take on leadership responsibility, particularly at Director level, where you’ll be involved in strategy, mentoring and shaping internal processes.
The Candidate
This role would suit an experienced private wealth solicitor with:
* 5+ years’ + PQE
* Strong experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals and/or business owners
* A solid grounding across the full spectrum of private client work
* STEP qualification (or working towards / genuine interest)
Equally important is your approach — the firm is looking for someone collaborative, commercially aware and personable, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and support junior colleagues.
