Are you a software developer with a couple of years of experience in either C# or TypeScript who would be interested in working as a Developer In Test (DIT / SDET)?
Working for a longstanding and successful Fintech business in the heart of the city, this role would see you coding about 90% of the time and spending the rest of your time working with automation tools to test mission-critical trading applications.
Further opportunities lie in learning how to set up CI/CD pipelines in Azure and working closely with both software engineers as well as DevOps teams. As well as sharpening up your technical skills there is also a lot to learn about the business domain in which you find yourself. You will need to wrap your head around how commodities are traded both in the physical world but also across a variety of electronic exchanges.
The team is friendly and enjoy working in person three days a week in a swanky new office. The environment is friendly, collaborative, and supportive. People with ambition are rewarded with regular performance reviews and promotions. It won't surprise you when you realise the average tenure of your colleagues is well above the average in UK tech.
Your manager joined at the same level you are now 5 years ago and has a lot of influence over the directions of technology within the organisation. She is someone you can (and will) learn a lot from.
What do you need to be considered for this role?
* A degree in computer science or a coding bootcamp course
* Experience in writing either C# or TypeScript code for commercial projects
* Excellent communication skills
* An interest in software excellence
What's on offer?
* Salary of up to £ 65,000
* 29 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
* Hybrid working 3/2 split in the office
* Long-term skills development
* Real job security
