Part Time Lunch Break Supervisor – Bristol, BS11 (Shirehampton)
Are you looking for part time work during school hours? We’re recruiting for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Break Supervisor at a school for children with special educational needs located in Bristol. The pupils all have severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour - many of the pupils have additional disabilities – physical, visual, or hearing.
* £13.68 per hour
* Monday – Friday, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
* Term Time only plus 2 inset days
* Based in Bristol – BS11.
About the Lunch Break Supervisor role
* Supervising pupils between the ages of 4—19
* Support pupils who are not independent feeders with their dinner and assist pupils with their hygiene or toileting needs.
* Encourage positive behaviour, promote inclusion, and assist children in engaging with activities.
* Report any concerns regarding safety or behaviour to senior meal supervisor or class teacher
About You - We’re looking for someone who:
* Enjoys working with children and has a friendly, approachable demeanour.
* Is comfortable in a role that is physical in nature and requires emotional and physical resilience.
* Has excellent communication skills and can work well as part of a team.
