HR Advisor Salary: Competitive Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Location: On Site - Wheathampstead, St Albans, Office based with 1 day working from home. Occasional travel to our care homes based accross the UK. As an HR Advisor, you’ll be a key part of our HR function – offering expert advice and guidance to managers across a range of people matters. From employee relations and recruitment to compliance and staff engagement, you’ll help shape a positive working culture and ensure we meet both legal standards and care industry regulations. What You’ll Be Doing Advising managers on HR issues including employee relations, absence, and performance Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain the right people Ensuring compliance with CQC, employment law, and visa sponsorship regulations Maintaining accurate and compliant staff records and HR systems Contributing to HR reports, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Essential: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Confident supporting recruitment and employee relations issues Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills Desirable: Familiarity with CQC requirements and staff file compliance HR experience in a care home, healthcare, or similar regulated environment Understanding of Skilled Worker visa sponsorship Experience using HR and Recruitment software What We Offer A supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunities for professional development and progression A chance to make a genuine impact in a meaningful sector
