We seek a well-qualified and motivated individual eager to utilize their talents and enthusiasm within a dedicated and professional team. The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to their role and to the life of the School.
Applicants should be willing to work in a small school environment, developing skills in working with younger children and assisting in areas of school and curricular development at the nursery and early years stage.
The working hours, during term time only, are approximately:
* Monday: 7.30am – 1.30pm
* Tuesday: 9.45am – 1.00pm
* Wednesday: 7.30am – 1.30pm
* Thursday: 9.45am – 1.45pm
* Friday: 9.45am – 12.45pm
Additional occasional opportunities may be available to support our before and after-school care facilities.
The current pay rate is £14.33 per hour, paid monthly in arrears for 39 weeks of the year. An additional five weeks of holiday pay is included, resulting in an approximate annual salary of £14,030. All holidays must be taken during the school holiday periods.
The candidate should hold a Level 3 SVQ qualification or equivalent. The appointment is subject to a PVG check with Disclosure Scotland and SSSC.
