Pizza Chef - Food Truck - Thetford Were on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our client's vibrant food truck team in Thetford. Specialising in handcrafted, wood-fired pizzas made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, our food truck is a local favourite at events, markets, and pop-up locations across Norfolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and reliable chef who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering consistently delicious pizzas.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to order using fresh dough and seasonal toppings
Operate and maintain a wood-fired or stone pizza oven
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are upheld at all times
Manage stock levels, prep ingredients, and minimise waste
Collaborate with the team to develop new pizza specials and seasonal offerings
Provide excellent customer service during busy service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in a compact kitchen space
Requirements Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen or food truck
Confident working independently and managing a small kitchen setup
Strong understanding of dough preparation, fermentation, and pizza oven operation
Passionate about fresh, local ingredients and creative flavour combinations
Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to changing service locations and conditions
Valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
