Their clients range from multinational, Global 1000, and Fortune 500 enterprises to emerging companies developing industry-leading technologies, as well as government and public sector bodies.This Senior Legal Counsel will work in partnership with the Executives, Partners, CMPs and OMPs in identifying and understanding legal, risk and compliance developments and issues. You’ll be a trusted advisor, deliver a responsive and efficient service – providing advice on legal and regulatory issues, specialising on conflicts management.As the successful Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:Working closely with the Business Intake Team to ensure compliance with the firm’s conflicts policies and proceduresProviding technical legal advice and support the Partners and Fee-Earners on complex conflicts and confidential informationUnderstanding and identifying wider risk and reputational business intake criteriaReviewing and advising on conflicts issuesLeading on internal investigations relating to conflictsWorking closely with the conflicts team to review existing processes and implement enhancementsDelivering training / shadowing to the conflicts team+ much more.To be considered for this Senior Legal Counsel position, you’ll need to have/be the following:Be a Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales)Be a minimum of 5 years’ experience within legal conflictsHave the ability to build and maintain relationshipsHave commercial acumen and analytical skillsBe able to commute to London (with occasional travel to regional offices)For more information on this position and to see an in-depth job description, get in touch as soon as possible.
