Position Description:

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance. This role is based 5 days a week on site near Reading.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the technical delivery management of a complex Defence project. You will oversee service and delivery solutions across a large-scale infrastructure and application integration programme. You will manage multiple workstreams led by specialist SMEs, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual, commercial, and operational objectives. Working closely with clients and suppliers, you will take ownership of service outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust transition into service.

Key responsibilities:
Lead & coordinate technical delivery management
Own & govern service (run) and delivery solutions end to end
Manage & integrate multiple SME-led workstreams
Drive strong client & supplier relationships across complex ecosystems
Oversee contract, commercial, and service performance commitments
Ensure effective delivery across hybrid programme models
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will bring strong experience in Defence or enterprise-scale programmes, with a proven ability to lead complex service and delivery initiatives, manage commercial relationships, and deliver outcomes in secure environments.
Essential qualifications:
Extensive experience within Defence and enterprise business systems
Proven project and service delivery leadership on large programmes
Demonstrable experience supporting or leading large bid activity
Strong contract and commercial management capability
Proven client and supplier relationship management skills
Experience working within secure environments
Experience of hybrid delivery approaches, including Agile
