Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Mathematics.
2. Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student.
3. Deliver engaging and interactive maths lessons to enhance students' understanding and confidence.
4. Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic growth.
5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience working as a Maths Tutor with a focus on SEN students.
* A relevant teaching qualification or degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN.
Additional desirable qualifications include certifications in Special Education or SEN support, and experience working with students across different age groups.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of Mathematics curriculum and ability to simplify complex concepts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and their families.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Work Details:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
* Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres.
* Collaborative work with other educational professionals and parents.
