Humanities Teacher - Hertfordshire
We are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and experienced Humanities Teacher to work across schools in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator with a passion for subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies, with flexible start dates available ASAP or from September, depending on your circumstances.
We have both full-time and part-time roles available, offering flexibility to suit your availability and preferences.

The Role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons across a range of Humanities subjects, depending on your specialism and experience. You will support students in developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teaching subjects such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies
Marking and assessing students' work, providing clear and constructive feedback
Monitoring and supporting student progress
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects in a school setting is essential
Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines
Experience with lesson planning, marking, and assessment
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
