We currently have a great new opportunity for a Vehicle Conversion Technician (Fitter) to join our friendly but driven team at our Glasgow Depot. Our Vehicle Hire Division rents a range of light commercial vehicles to companies ranging from blue-chip corporations and public sector organisations to medium-sized enterprises. The Vehicle Conversion Technician (Fitter) will join us to carry out all vehicle modifications effectively and efficiently, and in line with our customers' specifications.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Ensure all job cards and admin are completed and returned
* Observe all relevant Health & Safety Procedures
* Remove and refit external and internal parts
* Fit auto electrical equipment
* Wire tow bars
* Modify vehicles
* Maintain housekeeping of work area
* Use power tools and equipment safely where required
* Perform other associated works
* Line vans
* Build and construct shelving
Qualifications
Applicants for the role should have:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to use own initiative
* Ability to follow safe working practices
* Driven, self-motivated, able to think on your feet and work well under pressure
* Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on quality and safety
* Experience working with customers as an ambassador of the company
* Team player with a flexible attitude
* Excellent punctuality
* Valid driver's license
