Credit Controller required for Portadown
Hours of Work:
8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
8am-4pm Fri
Salary depending on experience
Duties
1. Set up new Customers on Database.
2. Carry out Credit Checks and ensure that all customer details are correct.
3. Monitor overdue accounts and prompt remedial action as required.
4. Telephone / E-mail customers to ensure debt collected within the agreed payment terms - recording all actions on Customer Account.
5. Legal recovery of unpaid debts where appropriate.
6. Effectively dealing with customer account queries, including liaising with other departments,, despatch, sales etc to ensure that they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
7. Liaise with the Sales Team regarding Credit matters.
8. Daily Posting and allocating of payment received.
9. Ensure and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Essential Skills & Experience:
10. At least 2 years previous experience in a busy credit control team / function
11. Excellent communication and organisational skills
12. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
