As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a key role in design management for Transformational Programmes related to critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
Our expertise covers river and coastal engineering across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide comprehensive solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you are passionate about this industry, we would love to hear from you.
We currently have opportunities in our Glasgow office.
Your Purpose:
* Deliver high-quality technical design work following relevant standards and codes.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Manage project risks effectively.
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
* Knowledge of coastal defenses, flood walls, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, and construction logistics.
* Familiarity with UK design standards and guidance.
* Ability to deliver traditional and environmentally-focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
* Strong commercial, contractual, and program management skills.
