We are now looking to an experienced Global Supply Chain Programme Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in the process.
The key purpose of the Global Supply Chain Programme Manager is to design, plan, manage and deliver strategic projects on time and in budget that will continuously improve our global supply chain function. Within this role you must be able to generate creative solutions to balance operational, financial and sustainability metrics.
The key responsibilities of the Global Supply Chain Programme Manager
* Manage activity, which includes project management and business analysis across the supply chain part of the business.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, such as senior management, functional leaders, NPI and IT, to identify and prioritise initiatives.
* Collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of existing business processes to develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
* Develop change management plans to ensure team members are prepared for the changes brought about by project change
* Monitor and report on the progress of projects providing regular updates to senior management and other stake holders.
* Identify and manage risk mitigation associated with projects.
* Ensure the innovative solutions are deployed effectively across Corin with robust and rigorous handover to supply chain & cross functional teams.
* Co-ordinate internal cross-functional teams and third-party resources needed to support the successful delivery of projects.
* Evaluate the success of projects upon completion by addressing lessons learnt and ensuring these improvements are incorporated into best practice for future projects.
* Use root cause problem solving analysis to proactively identify deviations and inconsistences between actual and expected performance and timelines.
* Manage top line metrics around supply chain continuity, inventory, and supply chain costs.
* Identify gaps in current global supply chain processes and initiate activities to correct
* Develop and grow tight workup relationships with purchasing and supplier quality
The ideal Global Supply Chain Programme Manager
* A bachelor’s degree in engineering, SCM, Logistics, Business or related field or extensive experience in a Supply Chain role in any end-to-end function: Supply Chain strategy, procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, etc
* Project management certification (Prince II, Agile) - Excellent planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.
* Experience managing complex projects and programs.
* Change management, risk management, negotiation, and mitigation experience
* Experience driving high performance and continuous improvement using proven methodologies (e.g. Lean six sigma).
* Root Cause problem solving analysis at both a strategic and functional level.
* Risk management and mitigation experience
* High level usage of planning systems (including MRP) and an understanding of how to optimize systems.
* Flexibility to travel required.
* Commercial sensitivity, business acumen and judgment skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in particular strong ability to effectively communicate with Senior Managers and Directors.
* Excellent decision making / problem solving capabilities.
